Looks like they should have waited a day for the swell to clean up. First day of nearby windswell conditions. Too peaky with gutless shoulders, or randomly closed out, from various directions.
The pros really did make the best of it and snuck in some good rides, but were limited by what they had to work with.

FW used to call it blonde ale. they re-labeled it 805 and it blew up. my bud works for FW. an entire new division was made, twice as many employees as all the rest of FW combined, to push the piss. it’s nasty but again leads to the conclusion that in a capitalist consumer economy, it’s not about people buying product. it’s conditioning the people so that the product is YOU. and the product of this effort will buy anything you label that fits their pathetic self-ID’d aesthetic. hello, yeti coolers. for the outdoor rugged type. hello, OK. for the jet-setting enviro lover. the list goes on.
