I heard a potential rumor that Joao was seen via security video pissing Merrick Lager on the outside wall of the Channel Islands Surfboard Shop. When confronted by Parker Coffin Joao just laughed it off. At the meeting the next morning Dane Reynolds voiced concern to the other board members. Not sure if it’s true, seems plausible.

WSL production team has mastered having interviews or other nonsense while actual surfing is taking place. As the years have gone by, I’ve noticed they’ve become even better at doing this. Excellence
