The eighties and nineties were an incredible times in SF Bay Area skating. i worked for a skate company doing shipping and receiving so i knew all the thrasher mag people.
Hearing about Mikey dying is just sad even though he could be an asshole if he didn’t know you, because he was such a big part of the whole era.
It was a time before the tech kooks moved in and made living here unaffordable. We could get five people who were all broke and rent a house. Those times are long gone.
