Any man or woman who grew up with siblings is well acquainted with the playful agony of tickle torture. Laughing until tears then loss of breath then, more often than not, shouts to parents to make the whole thing stop. But always fun. Always wonderful fun.
And to think that Great White sharks, apex predators, man-eaters can put a pause on causing death/destruction and find a moment to play with fun-loving seals.

You just got me all nostalgic LGR. Flipper and Gentle Ben. They could have been the best of friends. A friendship forged where the Everglades meet the Keys. Tickle torture happy times without having to worry about rescuing Sandy…..AGAIN! It’s a good thing Flipper, a male dolphin was played by a female dolphin, otherwise Sandy would have died every episode like Kenny.
A couple years ago I invented a collab character to
annoyamuse the kids and wife while in the car. Flippy the Bush Dolphin. He had a song like Flipper x Skippy but an inexplicable nature. Appearing randomly in the bush, hundreds of kilometres from the ocean to warn the kids of some danger or adventure, whilst suffering dehydration and sunburn out of the water. Likely dying horribly every time he appeared, only to pop up again in the next episode.Magical thinking solves soooo many plot holes.
