Try this theory , a proffesional athlete that can only perform when the conditions are perfect is not a very rounded athlete, there were many scoring opportunities but a game plan to only catch a set wave and hopefully complete a single manoeuvre is not a well thought out nor as we saw executed plan.
If those runners with makeable tube section were at lowers it would have been called perfect .
