No he got a buzzer beater that they underscored and said FU Jack. As bad as the poor timing for visiting surf breaks is and the dreadful mid season cut nothing is bringing professional surfing down faster than the obvious favoritism and predetermination of the judges on who THEY want to win. Ethan Ewing’s heat was way worse. If you turned the sound down and watched the reactions on the beach Ethan knew he lost, George knew he won, Ethan’s team you could read as we’ll get em next time. George’s massive following were like WTF? and you can’t hide all that with some idiotic commentary from Joe T

My dad used to be a judge at bells (way back before pro surfing). Said that each surfer in a heat had a judge allocated to them (6 man heats). Claw would always be the judge for Wayne Lynch.
