Forecast looking decent for Monday afternoon. I think they’ve called it off for today.
Idk man, kinda feels like the IOC is more concerned with sticking to a particular schedule they want, rather than going deep into the window to run in the most optimum conditions.
Is there any reason they couldn’t go outside the lines and have a window during the entire Olympics?
Only thing I could think of is the opening/closing ceremonies. I’m sure they could if they wanted. The IOC certainly has a big enough stick to do whatever they want

Read somewhere that the supposed reason for the rush is that IOC wants to be sure the surfers/athletes/great humans have enough time to make it back to Paris for the closing ceremony since they were not able to attend the opening ceremony. However, who the fuck knows.
