Ima say it, big wave contests are boring to watch, sure Jaws and Mavs are pretty intense but that Todos conny and the other Big Wave events like the Basque etc are borderline unwatchable. Sorry, but give me Snapper or even Lowers any day from a spectator standpoint.
Hooray! More old guys doing bottom turns! People watch this for the same reason they watch russian dash cam videos. It looks sketchy and they want to see people almost die. No offense to the guys charging because yes it is mental as hell, but damn is it boring to watch. Just throw us a quick edit, a write up with some amazing photos and call it a day.
