not in the criteria but they’ve been very vocal about lower the scale so they don’t score themselves into a corner by giving out too high of scores too early… hence the lower heat totals

Can work with broadcast and radio, sure. But internet is another thing.
Can’t see how that could happen without retransmitting the vid so you could achieve alternative audio sync with the pics and right there you’ve just breached copyright.
Edit: It could work if everyone was sitting on a T1 backbone lol but that simply ain’t the case.
Best case scenario would be to negotiate with WSL and have an alternative booth on site and let viewers choose which audio feed to take. But that ain’t gonna happen.

Honestly, pretty stoked for Kolohe. I don’t think anyone (even Kolohe himself) expected to win that heat. He knows that his rail game is weak and he still tried to push it as hard as he could. Look at any of his other heats this year and this is by far his best heat utilizing the rail. I feel like this could light a fire in him to actually improve that aspect of his surfing instead of relying on his revos to get him through heats. #everyonewinshere
