Health conscious champ sets his almost three-million strong Instagram army against Texas juice co…
It ain’t a good morning in any American household without a jug of Snapple holding court in the centre of the breakfast table.
The delicious treat, which comes in Lemon Tea, Peach Tea, Raspberry Tea, Green Tea, Banana, Lemonade, Pink Lemonade, Half n Half, Straight Up Sorta Sweet, Straight Up Sweet and Straight Up Unsweetened among others, also mixes well with vodka.
Is it bad?
Well, yeah, as is Coca-Cola, Mountain Dew, vaping, all-nat services etc.
We all know that. You take your chances.
The world’s greatest athlete Kelly Slater, who will soon reveal on Apple television the event that brought him to a “full-on breakdown”, was shocked, however, when he examined the ingredients panel on the back of a container of Snapple recently.
“Was thirsty and got this without looking at it then threw it out once i read 40 grams a serving. @snapple you’re killing people with all this sugar.”

The spray, which appeared on the Champ’s Instagram story, only became visible to BeachGrit, we’re blocked, when naughty Twitter account Full-On Steez IV gave it the ol treatment in a series of Tweets.
State-sponsored hate, homocidal cops, anti-mask super spreaders and K Slates – social reach 3mil+ – goes for the RUTHLESS takedown of… Snapple. pic.twitter.com/itmmIbha8d

It’s like dude, you’re a affluent white guy from Florida. Suck down your Snapple, play a round of golf, RT a few subtly-racist conspiracy theories and tuck in for the night. It’s fine.

“Was thirsty” as if that’s some kind of justification. As if we’ll go, “Give him a break, was thirsty.” As if he’s just crawled out of the Sahara, near-death parched, straight into a 7-11. I’m no scientist/marketing mgr but I’d guess “was thirsty” is #1 reason people buy drinks.

Does the revelation that Snapple’s delicious teas contain a large amount of sugar surprise you, too?
And, ergo, the company, which is headquartered in gorgeous Plano, Texas, is killing America?
Or no.

You really are way out there. Bet you are single and have zero friends. We feel sorry for you too 🤧
Boy the haters on this thread are bountiful! I am sure it is quite easy to throw your stones while you sit on your comfy couch hiding begins your big bright screens. What have you done to better the world? What have you accomplished In your life? That’s what I thought!
Sounds like a bunch of jealous kooks if you ask me 🙄
Snapple used to be headquartered here on Long Island. My biggest issue with them was the block glass facade on the building. I HATE BLOCK GLASS.
Meanwhile…their raspberry ice was the key to conquering many a hang over in the ’90’s.
Maybe the most delicious of all drinks ever created.
I think Stolichnaya is in for a brow beating.
Cheers.
Which is more dangerous? Ingesting a case of Snapple or an entire Outerknown shirt?
I just watched the episode. Less than 8 minutes long, which is a good thing I guess. He cried but then did a yoga pose with Tom Carroll and won his 5th world title so all good. Ego intact.
WOT – as you found out, there are not too many good carbs out there. You think OJ is good for ya and you find out you might as well be drinking that Snapple. I did Keto for 8 months and dropped 40 lbs of fat. Pretty easy to do actually, once you kick the carb addiction (it is real). Funny how you catch way more waves when you drop a small child in weight. And you can still drink up – hard alcohol and non-sugar mixers, like soda water (shit) or diet sodas.
I’d love to think that most 50 year olds in the US are aware of the amount of sugar is any drink but the past 5 months have rocked even my cynical outlook on people’s general intelligence.
have any of you tried the 4 3 diet?
I did it 3 years ago and it worked good for me
As a 34 yo doctor who hates prescribing medication, a big thing I stress to patients is avoiding second servings as well as portion control. For example, just look at the serving sizes for soft drinks in the 50s versus today. 5 oz versus 64 oz. if he just had a couple small shots of Snapple and then drank water he would have nothing to worry about.
In my experience, the old patients who live long and maintain functional health in general do not smoke, are social drinkers, and most importantly are creative and curious people.
Thirsty? Drink water! Dumb bald headed cunt must of lost some brain power with his hair
Pretty sure sugar is a Schedule .25 drug, maybe even .5
It’s more the sneaky shit with loads of sugar. I died inside when I became aware bread was off limits if I wanted to stave off getting large.
Ha – I hear ya. But astro rembers my dear old dads words of advice, “ Doesn’t matter what they say, son. Actions speak louder than words.”
Yep, he’s full of endearing qualities …. like cruising the Bukit on a jetski- thereby signalling to every arsehole with bucks that it’s ok to act like a sheer cunt. Witness DH, mick, Joel and associated Gold Coast arseholes at snapper.
Not having a dig at you WOT, just saying.
Kelly hastily added: “I was so thirsty that my parched brain didn’t realise the snapple bottle was single-use plastic. As soon as I clicked, I flew straight to my factory in North Korea where I supervised the kiddies to recycle the bottle into a strand of yarn that they wove into the socks I’m wearing right now (retails for $249 at the OK online store).
Did I mention we couldn’t afford socks when I was a kiddywinkle?
Anyway, once the kids were finished with their work I treated them to a big bottle of Snopple, a local nutritious juice treat.”
Hyberbole. Usually reserved for the off season which is now all the time. Ke11y will step in dog shit maintaining everyone’s attention. He’s very relevant. Check in on his social medium, so aware and bored.
“The average American consumes 17 teaspoons (71.14 grams) every day.
That translates into about 57 pounds of added sugar consumed each year, per person.
