There’s no way they’ll got to The Box again. It was actually pushing the skillset of lots of the contestants in a way that scared them last time.
God forbid they do that.
I’ve been pretty unimpressed with this year’s mainbreak. Maybe it’s just the particular swell, but it’s seemed a bit shitty. Far better than the slop we ended up with on the east coast, but again, just the particular swell we got.
I’d vote for carnage every time, but a lot the surfers wouldn’t like that I guess.

I love John’s turns. Griff’s were pretty good as well as Jflo, Caio’s and Ryan’s and Matty’s.
The location is beautiful.
I like the new replay cut they’ve got where they repeat the turn from two different angles in quick succession.
