I’m not Joe Turpel, but I’d say look for a start on the 28th in small to mid range surf, in clean conditions.
Although there is potential if the NW system pulls together with the NNW system there could be some good surf.
mind you, I don’t have Surfline, so just basing my forecast off satellite images on UH weather server.

“Average Surfers on Average Waves”.
Since we can’t shake the average surfers (see Alejo Muniz). I’d like to see the”Average Surfers on Average Waves – You don’t want to surf” route. A tour of super exposed beaches, the type that are rarely below 5ft. no waiting period. They might score the wind but mostly its chunky onshore close out sections. See who wants the winners cheque the most.
Seems the best surfers are no longer proffesionals.
