This is coming from the guy who travels all over and surfs anywhere he wants to. I have seen videos of him cutting people off in recreational surf spots. No one owns the waves or the sea. Any kind of localism or turf wars is a form of archaic idiocy.

Hope he comes through like a mate’s dad a few years ago. Playing grade tennis against a kid 1/4 his age, he collapsed on court. After getting rushed to hospital, emergency surgery and a day or two in the ICU, he survived.
My mate asked him “what the hell he was thinking playing tennis against young bucks?”
Dad replied; “I was winning though”.

Went to school with a guy who had a ten year or so career as a pro. Basically got paid 60-100 grand* a year to play doubles. Ran into him once and he said it beats working to earn that much money, but he was wondering what would come out of it when he retired. Picked up a gig as a ‘supervisor’ at an apartment block. A free flat and responsibility to call a tradie if anything was required.
*Depending on how many rounds he made it through at tournaments through the year and bonuses for going further in the majors.

The ISA can confirm that 7 competitors and event officials who are in
the quarantine hotel were PCR tested for COVID-19 by the Health Ministry
yesterday May 30th. 4 of these tests were negative. Of these 4 cases, 3 were athletes and 1 was a team official. All were therefore allowed to leave the quarantine hotel.
That could not be foreseen if you get people from all over the world together..
