Kelly Slater, and his enduring friendship with Bill Murray, is becoming one of the most precious stories of all. The surf great and iconic comedian most recently enjoyed each other’s company in Scotland, wearing fine suits, looking dapper. As it turns out, Slater might be the last remaining person on earth publicly admitting to that pleasure.
The Saturday Night Live alumn has become the subject of much scorn, lately, with everybody but everybody coming out of the woodwork to share “Bill Murray caused either emotional or physical harm” stories. It was lightly difficult to find them all, as he, apparently, hurt across multiple genres, but thankfully, the august Vanity Fair magazine has just released a complete “Everyone who has publicly accused Bill Murray of Misconduct” list.

While I agree with you on the opinions of these celebrities, if you don’t feel that the arts are a contribution to society then you’ve failed at being a human being.
The fact that you would put Chevy Chase at the top of this list shows how uninformed you are. A total douchebag that nobody likes to work with accuses somebody else of being a total douchebag that nobody likes to work with. This is idiotic.
Murray was dumb enough to think that the Coen Brothers would do a film like “Garfield”.
So Murray’s only friend is a known anti-vaxxer.
From what I have heard for many many years of people that have met him is that Bill Murray is one of the nicest and funniest people they have ever come across and he doesn’t even act like most snobbish celebs. I have heard absolute nightmare stories about Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey for starters…
People he has worked with say that he is a nightmare.
If there are that many people on the list who don’t like him, maybe it isn’t everyone else’s fault. He seems to be the common factor in all this.
This is the risk that jokesters take. You end up with a bunch of fans who think you are funny and down to earth and you end up with a bunch of enemies who think you’re not funny and are annoying and mean.

Bill Murray gets a lifetime pass for any behavior short of punching a baby or actual sexual abuse. His charitable contributions and general life enhancement to those he comes into contact with outshine and outweigh any perceived slights these entitled attention seeking Hollywood hacks cry about. The parasocial relationship people maintain with celebrities is disturbing.
I will watch just about anything Bill Murray is in. His characters are thoroughly enjoyable and usually one-off in a way he cannot help and sometimes underplayed. That he is no longer PC or being ostracized by the woke babies is a plus for him. Let him play roles and leave him to his own private life.
Murray phones in most of his performances and plays the same character -the smartass who seems like he would rather be somewhere else.
The one movie he actually shone IMO was “Lost In Translation” where he acted like the role mattered to him.
