The tycoon, who hails from Chicago, first cracked in by purchasing large portions of Maui then doubled down by lending us the “Oklahoman with a magic wetsuit of armor” Erik Logan, who became Chief Executive of the World Surf League before disappearing in a cloud of scandal. Winfrey also owns much property in California’s most exclusive surf burgh, minutes up the coast from Rincon, a stone’s throw from Britt Merrick’s gated manse.
Yes, Montecito.
You are certainly aware of the ocean-front enclave, home to Prince Harry and Princess Meghan amongst other extremely famous neighbors including the always kind Ellen DeGenerate, Ariana Grande and now the most beloved of Friends Jennifer Aniston.
According to reports, the 54-year-old actress just scooped up a Tuscan-style villa from the aforementioned Winfrey for a tidy $14.5 million.
The property, built in 1998 and purchased by Oprah in 2021 for a clean $10.5 million from a New York hedge fund manager, features one large complex and two smaller bungalows plus gardens, ponds, plants, a pool and a ten-ish mile drive to California’s second most famous point break.

Aniston is, clearly, the best of all Friends, a list that includes Phoebe, Chandler, Monica, Ross and Joey and made some $90 million from the show’s run, though what are your thoughts, exactly, on those who purchase their local status?

lastly, yesterday was the anniversary of my birth, so i took off today cuz i couldn’t yesterday. there was a really tragic outcome for one of the poor kids that needed my attention, and another poor kid’s probation officer needed to be met with. there was a pickup for a “baby goods” drive the poor kids put on to do a community service for the litehouse (a shelter for homeless & domestic violence victim single moms and their kids) i had to facilitate, and had to get wi-fi hot spots from the district office for the poor kids with no wi-fi at home. then another poor kid has no family around & stays at her friend’s had a girls flag football game at 7:30 vs newbury park i told her i’d go to. she’s the left cornerback. then i also had to do my job and teach. so today, it was chill time for teacher man, after i read and graded 150 kids’ homework. i have them write about their lives, everyday. some caring adult’s gotta read it and provide authentic, non-judgemental feedback & support, amirite? i share that with you only because being the resident BG ombudsman (& a damn good one at that, albeit with a rough touch), it’s good knowledge on the subject to have.

great! the movie stars are pushing up property values on The Gold Coast which now extends from Crescent City to the north, all the way down to Oxnard, in the south. Am assembling the VTA Coyote Pak to monitor their movements as me and Owen Wilson, Charlie Sheen, Morgan Freeman, and the newcomer babe Sara Foster prepare for The Big Bounces…Breaking & Entering while pretending to deliver alcohol (or whatever) while beach party bingo attendees are lounging offsite.
