Yesterday was quite a day, as far as professional surfing goes, and wow. How are your nerves? How is your bank account (read about JP Currie’s here)? Mine is $3000 lighter as I was ingloriously kicked out of Surfival League whilst riding John John Florence. I suppose not officially $3000, as we are not close to the end of the season and I have never won anything in my life, but man.

Best things about this format is you can pretty much finish the chicks in a day. Surfing has been okay, enjoying seeing the top girls lose, but multiple days of this would put me to sleep

Last year, the Vet handed her to me and said “Enjoy the weekend”… Kidney failure, wanted to do DIalysis.
I took her to the beach and swam with her. You know what LGR, she forgot she was sick and began playing. She wasn’t back to her old self, but she was alive and ate her first meal in days.
You know that saying, Take care of your surfing and surfing will take care of you?

She didn’t swim and it took us an hour to go 3 blocks to the beach. I love her so much LGR, she’s teaching me patience. Asleep at my feet now after a steak dinner. Thanks for asking, this last year has been so trying.
