With a ton of money how hard would it be to smash and destroy the WSL and set up a new tour run by actual surfers? Better waves and less surfers with more prize money.

I’d argue his surfing then comparably to his peers was better than Fils today
Not many guys have been able to define surfing as before and after they appeared on the scene. Kelly is one of them. As much as he is an insufferable tool now, he was bloody radical back when he had hair.
I’d cull Sunset, it’s embarrassing for they are just surf the Shorey and afraid to paddle out the back and catch a big peak.
I think it disrespectful to the place as well.

Cull Margret River, again the pros refuse to surf it if it’s sizeable plus if any Brazilian hears about a shark it be shut down and boycotted anyhow.
Trestles is just fucken boring, obviously there needs to be a comp in America mainland but fucken anywhere but trestles.

I feel like keeping Trestles for the finals and losing J-Bay without adding Fiji would’ve resulted in a full revolt, possible rebel tour, etc. Maybe they’ve just pencilled Fiji in to keep Gabe, JJ and others interested and will cancel it at the last minute?
