UK Surfers terrified after premier English surfing destination inundated with severed pig heads

"Praying it's not voodoo stuff..."

Terror is currently rippling through the United Kingdom’s small but hearty surf community after five severed pig heads washed up on the country’s premier surfing destination. The Isle of Wight, known for its beautiful scenery, including stunning beaches and dramatic coastline, as well as its rich history and unique geological features, is also known for its role in the history of hovercrafts, being the birthplace of the invention.

Additionally, the island is renowned for its surf breaks, including Compton Bay, Freshwater Bay and Hope Beach.

And it is here, on the 147 sq. mile surf paradise that dread is spreading for yesterday, Mr. Mat Riches was out for a beach stroll when he stumbled upon the aforementioned five severed pig heads.

He told the BBC, “Praying it’s not voodoo stuff or an Isle of Wight Godfather remake.” He added that, “It’s quite disgusting really, I don’t know where they have come from, I can only speculate. It’s not very nice for people on the beautiful beaches on the Isle of Wight.”

The speculation about voodoo and/or a Godfather remake both pretty solid.

Unlike surfers, who are quaking on the sand, Mr. Riches was unbowed, declaring at the end, “I’m not going to let the pigs stop me swimming.

The kind of man you’d want by your side in a fox hole.

Over to you, now. What is the grossest thing you’ve ever encountered on beach or lineup?

While you’re thinking, enjoy the golden classic The Dancing Pig.
