Bold and beautiful.
Slippahs are a many-splendored thing. They can be worn in April, on high and windy hills, during the morning mists or, if one happens to be the striking Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård, on the red carpet for a film premier.
Skarsgård, 49, was in Park City, Utah for The Moment, a new mockumentary following pop star Charli XCX as she prepares for an exciting tour.
Intriguing.
Skarsgård plays a director in the work and graced the aforementioned premier wearing Valentino from the pre-fall 2026 collection including a beige trench coat, mustard and khaki track jacket, floral tie and slacks.
The pièce de ré·sis·tance, though, a pair of Valentino studded slippahs.
Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani, the famous Italian designer best known for his luscious red evening gowns, left this mortal just a few days ago. He was 93.
Back to slippahs, though: Yay or nay for fancy affairs?

If they are leather, they are for going out to a fancy venue.
tank tops and slippahs, the Samoan traditional dress
“Those would pair nicely with some wool socks”, said some German.
Slaps should be plain, and flat. No high heels brah.
If you rearrange the letters in “slippahs” you can spellout “hi ass ppl”.
They’re not slippahs
They’re Jandals (Japanese sandals)
aka Samoan safety boots
thongs mate.
flip flops bru!
First we have a laughable effort from Inertia listing “7 Pieces of Gear You Can’t Use Because Surf Culture Thinks They’re Kooky” last week and now slippahs from BG. How are we, your fashion disciples, supposed to figure out what our proper dress code should be, what is cool and what isn’t?
Chas I have a fundraiser event at The Roxy on Wednesday, what should I wear? Slippahs?
I am a hard no on slippahs across the board (except for Hawaiians).
Aren’t you just admitting that you have ugly ass feet and toes?
While I don’t have a foot fetish, I suspect most surfers(and skiers) have really disgusting feet, toe fungus and poor toe nail maintenance.
I am a hard yes on slippahs due to my island upbringing, and used to wear them in inappropriate weather situations (snow) just to fuck with people.
what about at an onsen with Japanese dongs
