Those who surf with left foot forward were dealt a devastating blow, this past week, as a goofy astronaut Christina Koch slungshot around the moon. The battle for cultural superiority between regular and screw foots has been being fought since wo/man first stood on a surfboard.
Until this past week, regulars were ruling in almost all categories. Generally more attractive, talented, just better at everything.
Everything except slingshotting around the moon, that is, and now goofies are in the lead.

Koch, 47, graduated from the NASA Academy program in 2001 and completed her astronaut training in 2015. She has been to the International Space Station and is credited with the longest single continuous spaceflight by a woman after spending some 328 days amongst stars.
The Artemis II mission she is currently on has sent Koch and three bros further into space than any other human being.
More importantly to surfers, though, is her surfing.
