Obviously do not know the area, but my bet is they are not going to like all the tire noise (especially at night) from vehicle traffic, in what looks like, a major road that the property fronts. Sucks for them.

Thats a nice spread- nothing improves in value more than coastal land next to good surf.
Get some livestock on there, maybe a down at heel (clean) ex pro surfer living in a container out the back to look after the joint when away and fully sorted.
Lots of work to be done. But because they are away for long periods of time this could be done in their absence. Otherwise just start again with something nice and insulated to make it more bearable. Nothing worse than being cold!
Pretty reasonably priced real estate down that way compared to SE QLD / NR NSW. If only we could handle the cold would be a good trade. But alas can not do those winters.
