The New Jersey vlogger, reformed booze artist and high-end intermediate surfer Ben Gravy has again created history by riding what, I think, is easily the biggest and just as easily the roundest, wave accidentally created by a ferry.
“I’m still completely in awe of what we witnessed on this novelty trip,” Gravy writes. “This is by far the biggest and most perfect ferry wave I have ever seen in my life! I still have to figure out the best way to ride it, get the barrel and make it happen on a higher level, but what an honor it is to make a dream trip like this happen!”
Ben Gravy’s YouTube channel has almost quarter-of-a-million subscribers and so many little films you could watch them back to back on a rocket ship and not even be halfway through ’em as you touch down on Mars.
Gravy is a man who ain’t afraid to move to the beat of his own drum as he chases six-inch novelty waves that break for five hundred yards or waiting days, months, for the right conditions, tide and ferry schedules, to snatch these sorta fleeting moments.
