The fast fashion Spanish retailer, Zara, has just released a line of male fragrance inspired by your favorite waves. That’s right. Pipeline, Teahupoo and Waimea are all available as aromatic aides to your overall deal. What do you think Pipeline smells like? Fear and Spam Musubi? What about Teahupoo? Fear and poisson cru?
Wrong!
Pipeline, apparently, is woody, aromatic and musky with notes of lemon, tangerine, patchouli and musk.
Teahupoo is also woody and aromatic with notes of bergamot, grapefruit and sandalwood.
Waimea surprises with an aquatic base and vetiver finish.
Which appeals most to you? Are you more of a Pipeline or Waimea man?

Doesn’t have much to do with this article, but for years I’d mix water, salt, and lemon juice in a mister bottle, and spray that on my hair instead of using gel or pomade or anything like that. Gives you that badass “just surfed” hair.
I can’t wait for “Eau de Wetsuit Booties”. Only the finest, 4/3 mm thermally insulated, baked urine goes into each bootie shaped bottle–perfectly gathering the essence of “I changed in the car park without showering”.
My mate’s French wife aptly named his booties The Dead Dolphins.No way am I doing a shoey from a bootie !

Lisa Curry( a female swimming Laird ) was married to Grant Kenny whose dad Hayden employed Bob Cooper , Russell Hughes Algie Grud and Bob Mc on the Sunshine Coast in the 60s which led to George Greenough meeting Bob and surfing a break called Pipe or Pipeline ( beachbreak) and the rest is Short board history .
Hmmm reminds me of the saintly morning scent of a lookout over Port Campbell in my construction days, it was all stale alcoholic fisherman piss and roach butts.
A dog once ate my friend’s shit and vomited on our wetsuits and towels in the back of the wagon on a trip down south. This is the true smell of surf.
