Not as lavish as the John John Florence-Lauryn Cribb extravaganza but beautiful in its gorgeous asceticism.
One month after telling the world he had a little man called Marty wrapped in his baby mama Sofia Larocca’s protective womb, Italo Ferreira has announced the pair are, as they say, now husband and wife.
Italo, who is thirty-one, shared a carousel of photos of the wedding on Instagram along side Psalms 8:6-7, “Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field.:
To wit, God has given humankind an enormous responsibility to steward his creation, expects wise and just governance etc. A little optimistic it should be added although at a wedding optimism is a necessarily ubiquitous ingredient.

While it wasn’t as lavish as the high-water John John Florence/Lauryn Cribb extravaganza from three years ago, you can examine the Vogue photo spread here where we find the couple and their myriad friends dancing the night away under a grand marquee festooned with lights, the happy couple hoisted upon guest’s shoulders, forming a miracle of love against the heavens, Italo’s simple Catholic wedding underscore his new asceticism.
Gone is the wild yella hair, the barking.
Response was positive online. Tom Carroll, Stephanie Gilmore, Erin Brooks, among the well-wishers.
Back to Psalms 8:6-7, the link, I think, to getting married, is the shared stewardship of each other, the promise, like the one apparently made to god a while back, mutual responsibility, shared authority, unity and so on.

1 Corinthians 7:32-35 (ESV)
(32) I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. (33) But the married man is anxious about worldly things, how to please his wife, (34) and his interests are divided. And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband. (35) I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.
Good on him for making his baby mama a wife.
The family is the cornerstone of civilisation.
Gold digging plain and simple
That thing about dominion over oxen etc just sounded a little toooo odd in this context other than pre/lactating women are not dissimilar to cows in a biological sense like all female mammals, so ignoring the Instagram ‘translate’ (which said it was from Psalms) I put it into Google asking for an explanation in English.
This is what came up…

Seems more fitting.
Looks like Google has better translation skills than Instagram, whose purpose is really just selfies…
Absolutely correct

Just Michael Rodrigues handing out acai bowls.
There’s something quietly powerful about a man that is shorter than his Mrs
Mine’s 2 inches taller than me with legs that finish just below her tits. Every man in the room stares at her then looks at me with a mixture of disgust and incredulity.
Go you short king!
