The 18-year-old blasted into the big leagues at the Lexus Pipe Pro back in February and while she stumbled early, found form later and became the only rookie to sneak above the mid-season cut line, ending the 2025 Championship Tour season ranked 8th.
Brooks had three semi-final appearances, Supertubos, Burleigh and Saquarema. The screwfoot’s most notable moment on the Gold Coast wherein she bashed the iconic Stephanie Gilmore with two scores well within the excellent range.
It is unknown if the lightning quick blonde likes her poutine traditional (french fries, cheese curds, gravy) or fancy (french fries, cheese curds, gravy, wagyu steak), her domination of surfing’s highest tier is buoying Canada’s beleaguered population. As you know, United States President Donald J. Trump despises the great white north and has slapped it with many tariffs and disparaging remarks including, “Canada was meant to be the 51st state, because we subsidized Canada by $200 billion a year. A homegrown red and white gal just what the country needs to feel joy, especially seeing that Brooks smashed Americans Sawyer Lindblad and Bella Kenworthy on the way to her ROY honors.
