Italians, known for their passion, are becoming super heated over the proposal.
Milano’s mayor, Giuseppe Sala, declared that ICE should stay away, adding, “This is a militia that kills. It’s clear that they are not welcome in Milan, there’s no doubt about it. Can’t we just say no to Trump for once? We can take care of their security ourselves. We don’t need ICE.”
Alessandro Zan, parliamentarian, opining, “In Italy, we don’t want those who trample on human rights and act outside of any democratic control.”
Two petitions have begun circulating, calling on the Italian government to expressly deny ICE agent involvement in any security operation though the country’s foreign minister, Antonio Tajani, attempted to turn down the thermostat, saying, “It’s not like the SS are coming. Let’s be clear. They’re not coming to maintain public order in the middle of the streets. They’re coming to collaborate in the operations rooms.”

Before drainpipes disappeared we would surf it with no one around. I especially miss Secrets, that wave was a true slabbing beast that would throw out twice as wide as it was high.

Can’t say I know the area at all but that particular wave on that particular day looks like a VALfest. Area did get fucked by Kilauea 2018 I thinks. But…some new waves were probably created, albeit sharp as hell until some smoothing out occurs.
There is a pseudo new wave from what I hear, but that whole coastline is now totally devoid of waves where there was at least a dozen really good ones before.
That side used to be epic, especially Drainpipes.
Offshore on trades and year round waves.
The lava covered everything and extended the land out by hundreds of yards in some spots, and it is so deep of the ledge that those waves are never coming back.

Epstein files won’t come out ever. Definitely won’t come out unredacted in the way people want. They passed a law requiring the release, “with limited redactions”, and it still didn’t happen. Problem is that there are no repurcussions for violating that law, if there were, somebody would already have held to account since the deadline passed over a month ago. The Supreme Court fucked that up epically with its determination that a POTUS basically can’t be held accountable for violating laws.
