The “equality of opportunity” the left was rightfully about died years ago when they realized that consolidation of power and a push towards Euro style socialism(aka the nanny state) MUST be the focus. Lets revisit the Collectives unnecessary 2nd injection of COVID-19 cash or roughly $1.9 trillion under the American Rescue Plan Act. The Collective wanted to further development of the nanny state so money must be spent to keep the natives happy while throwing gasoline on an economy fire that now, as in today, is coming back to haunt the 2025 economy. Pair that cash with $2.2 trillion from the Build Back Better Act which primarily focused on Euro style climate change and social policy to further the nanny state agenda in an attempt match the socialist “success” of European countries the Collective ached to copy. Yes more efforts and taxpayer dollars spent in an attempt to consolidate power just like the failing EU economies.
