If we play in their corrupt system they win. I have never paid for health insurance and I have a few on going health issues that take some care. The system sucks so I do what is best for me and my situation. I go to doctors that are interested in me getting well and I pay them. Like any other good service I count on. It has made me very thoughtful about my daily health and how I spend money. When I needed cancer treatment I paid cash. By doing that I received a 50% discount up front and I was able to ask to not be billed for anything I didn’t want or need like $40 toothpaste or $60 bed pans. The surgery and treatment ended up costing me $18k which was less than if I had paid 3 years of insurance plus the deductible. It is up to us all as individuals to save our hard earned to take care of our selfs and our neighbors. There has never been a place or time when the government has done that well. I give 10% of my income to help my community with their needs so my personal finances are very tight as far as spending on any thing unnecessary. I’m happy to do that. And yes CA does get fed funds that get used for social programs and yes it’s totally backwards because they do send more than they receive back to the fed. I say you can’t blame the illegals, we have to blame the people not willing to prosecute the law when it their job. I know that I can’t go into the EU, Australia, or New Zealand illegally with out paying the consequence. Why should the US be any different?
