Thousands of commuters were left stuck, unable to surf progressively. Train passengers also rotten in coaches, being able to look the liquid “skatepark” but not touch.
The reason for all the mayhem, America’s gaping political divide. Vice-President JD Vance, MAGA scion, was at Camp Pendleton, the large Marine base, to celebrate the Corps 250 birthday, wanting to see some bangs and booms. The Marines have not run any live ammunition drills over the interstate in over a decade but decided yesterday was the day and made a report that the roads and tracks could stay open.
Vance watched the action, which featured F-18 and F-35 flyovers, parachute landings, Navy Seals swimming ashore, offshore destroyers and amphibious ships, simulated village explosions, and MH-60 helicopters dropping additional Seals over the water, from the top of a big truck.
California’s governor, Gavin Newsom, furious at the show of force, demanded the roads must be shut, citing “extreme life safety risk and distraction to drivers, including sudden, unexpected, and loud explosions,” and declaring, “The President is putting his ego over responsibility with this disregard for public safety. Firing live rounds over a busy highway isn’t just wrong – it’s dangerous. Using our military to intimidate people you disagree with isn’t strength – it’s reckless, it’s disrespectful, and it’s beneath the office he holds. Law and order? This is chaos and confusion.”
The day also just so happened to be a day of planned protests around the United States for those on the left branded “No Kings Day.

fuck yeah…..drove down from SC to O/side at 10.30am……who doesnt love to see blokes blowing up shit…the airshow was fantastic……and all ya had to do was check the traffic…..a couple of hrs all back to normal……
We arrived at SanO at 8am Saturday. Shockingly
short line, maybe 20 mins and we were in. The airshow was off the charts and the 5 was still closed(winning Charlie Sheen style!) at Basilone when we jumped on around 2:30.
