Just one month after announcing he was braving the choppy waters of love with the dancer Isabella Arantes, Gabriel Medina has thrilled fans with the announcement that he and she are gonna have a bebe.

It’s happy news for the almost-thirty-two-year-old three-time world champ whom, you’ll remember, was married to the very pretty stork-like woman Yasmin Brunet, although it sank amid rumours of Brunet’s wild jealousy and the strain of Medina’s then-estrangement from his mammy and step-daddy.

Gabriel Medina, who turns 32 in December, has been reluctant to dive back into anything serious after his catastrophic first marriage and any attempt to link the surf star to various woman was met with the champ’s famously brutal pen, one he has used to devastating effect against WSL judges. 

“Evil gossip can make you hate innocent people and love hypocrites,” Medina wrote on his IG story after he was tied to TikTok superstar Vanessa Lopes, who counts fifteen-million followers on TikTok, many who would leave the account with wet web stains on the front of their red bunny pyjamas, after the pair were photographed making out at a Sao Paulo nightclub. “Be wise, there are always two versions in every story told. Listen to them.”

Gabriel Medina’s baby mama is Isabella Arantes, a 28-year-old Brazilian model, influencer, and television personality.

Arantes was previously engaged to singer Zé Felipe in 2019, a relationship that ended in 2020 amid allegations of infidelity by Zé Felipe. She also faced rumours of a brief fling with Neymar in 2019, which stirred a terrific controversy at the time.
