Always the little things.
I climbed into a waiting car, behind the family, yesterday morning drenched in sweat. Marrakech had dialed up its heat, gloriously, and the driver was panicky, as he was parked in a “forbidden” zone thus requiring extra rushing whilst carrying bags whilst he continued to nervously glance at a nearby police officer who seemed otherwise occupied. I wondered if Moroccans were more sensitive to “rules” than Egyptians, Yemenis, Syrians and Lebanese or, and more likely, if the poor man was simply acting out of sorts due the impending matchup against Brazil set to literally and figuratively kick off in twelve hours.
It is, of course, FIFA World Cup season, that glorious time once every four years when countries around the globe revel in the Beautiful Game and Americans pretend they know what offsides is. The bacchanal got off to a bang in Mexico City a handful of days ago but Moroccans, one and all, were anxiously waiting for this moment when their Atlas Lions would take on the formidable Seleção. No country in the world, arguably, has had more international soccer success than Brazil. No country, certainly, is more feared and a particular anxiety percolated as we drove south and to the sea, stopping for a fine roadside tajine along the way.
“It’s like a final game except first,” the server said as a kitten hissed at a puppy. The driver nodded, brow furrowed.
The sun was setting, when we arrived at our destination, and a screen was being erected near the beach, chairs set up, flags raised, though the vibe was muted.
“Brazil? It’s hard,” a young man straddling a moped said looking vacantly into middle distance.
I joined the throng around 11:00 PM as they worriedly cheered the opening touch. Morocco is no soccer slouch, of course, becoming the first African side to ever reach the semis in 2022, but it felt as if the increased quality had also increased the pressure. A plucky performance ending in a loss wouldn’t be good enough though an outright win felt too much to dream.

Twenty-one minutes later, all the pent up angst exploded into the night sky after Ismael Saibari made small art and punched one into the back of the net putting his Christmas-colored team up 1-0. Moroccans young and old cheering, whistling, patting each other’s backs.
And while they reveled in their moment, I reveled with them but also in something even more pleasurable: Namely, the certain depression I knew that was spreading through the land of Order and Progress plus all Brasilero hearts abroad. It is, of course, great when any underdog holds its own but even greater when it happens against Brazil and its whingy, whiny, fatwah-issuing fans. Though the Green and Gold would later score, the match thus ending in a draw, I knew it would not be enough to buoy Brazilian hearts and, also, that Italy had bested Brazil in El Salvadorean surf.
Always the little things.

The cry is free
Now, I understand
Anxiety turning into panic, uncontrollable urges and intellectual purges.
I searched to comment on the contest wrap up over yonder, but couldn’t find the log in. Was I being banned? Didn’t seem possible. I began blaming people from other countries, hurling masculine insults and degrading everything beyond my small bubble. Prime snark.
But I hadn’t been active enough to ban. Plus I am so lovable.
Epiphany hit me like a slimy fece laden rock next to a Central American river “point break”
Swellnet has gone paywall. Sure you can read, but you can’t react. Something toxic about that now that the genie is out of the bottle (comments).
Thing is, Swellnet is worth it. Stab was not. I think I’m onboard Swellnet.
Suddenly, the sun shines more genuinely. I don’t loath the neighbors who can’t hear my voice in proximity. I don’t wholesale hate other nations though I do acknowledge that they all have cunts. I don’t mind rock points being mislabeled as cobbles anymore, it’s not my mistake to own. Even blabbering Jesse has another side to her coin, a short skirt forgot my knickers type of charismatic charm. Something Vaughn contrives so hard.
Will any of this fly over on Swellnet? Most likely not. Just the photo of the day is worth the cost of a soda once a month.
website upgrade Hip- probably just need to re login .
A good contest write up, LT.
I especially enjoyed the part about Carissa. I think you’re right and I hadn’t thought of it before, because I’ve never really watched the ladies surf too much. I’m watching her from a new perspective now.
Swellnet is unreal. They need voices like your’s over there. Go get ‘em.
The only thing better than winning is watching Brazillians lose, that match in 2014 world cup Brazil against Germany 7 – 1 was the highlight of world cup history IMO, I still remember the early morning match and the glee I experienced watching the fans and team in tears of yellow and green, great times!
In the really big world cup Israel is doing its best to create WW3.
When i was living in Brasil, the aussies beat Brasil in some soccer tournament, i was told not to get too excited and i didnt because i wasnt that excited.
That young kid Irukanda is excellent. I rember he played for Adelaide, I think. Then got sold into Bayern Munich Academy where he’s basically sat stagnant, but learning for about 2years. He’s a star matey. Top notch. Plays for Watford now.
I thought that was the teams nickname
Nah- lololol His name is Nestory Irankanda. (I spelled it wrong above)
He was a refugee.
You’re thinking of your Olympic Surfing Irukandji’s
worst sport on earth
https://uploads.disquscdn.c…
Way better. And you can hold your own beer whilst ” sporting “
It’s just so shit, all the spectators do is stand up, put their hands on their head and sit down. Again and again.
Imagine being a journo and writing a wrap up of another “pulsating draw”, it would be harder than writing about a surf contest.
Someone got triggered and down voted lol

Yew ! Firing here! Resting up for a second session ! Dumps !
I was surfing Dumps once and chatting to some locals in the lineup. One kid told me “from the beach this looks like a left, but from the wave it looks like a section a section a section a section.” Fun day surfing, but felt about right
heard it was good~ i was surfing The Lane!
I almost—almost—was seduced by the charms of the Mediterranean today. The beautiful canvas of humans soaking in sun, water, and good food with the multiplicity of cultures and languages (I know that’s some folks nightmare on here) had me close to forgiving speedos and all the fucking peckers making a show through tiny euro shorts amidst the salvation of the fairer sex.
And then I went to the water.
Trash and plastic, littered everywhere. A mess. Unforgivable. I only went ankle deep and remembered why I turned my back on the sea (not ocean!) all those years ago. Disgraceful.
The sheer quality of female companionship on offer is a saving grace.
Was watching surf skate class as part of some anthropological work, replete with Germans, Russians and very earnest and overwrought middle aged Spanish men. Managed to chat a very fit and charming Argentine after suggesting she stop squatting like she was going to lift a barbell and let her pelvis come under her head, be slightly more upright/aligned. A number exchanged. Invitation to a yoga class in the morning. The things we do.
Soccer suxxx
trips me out how people are so willing to tolerate absolute trashed beaches.
Euros especially.
Not all cultures are equal. Culture matters.
Certain aspects in each are better than others. When it comes to the beach though…
Remember watching two bikini clad hotties rinsing off in a stormwater drain in San Sebastian….ugh…did not attempt to tune
Brutal
Euros hate clean anything
You close that deal Bog and I want a full report.
I am smitten. Amazing day. Enjoying the moment. Yoga was actually great. Shy to say anymore at the risk of putting my foot in my mouth. I’ve learned to just let good moments come and not squeeze too tightly. Your boy has butterflies.
Pure poetry.

As promised here is my below the line post comp report…..
Embracing Nihilism with Jack Meoff.
Morning to all you denizens that inhabit the space below the line.
Today is the day after the comp, but in many ways it feels like the day after the apocalypse. I must professs that I woke up this morning highly depressed after yet another event that had all the hallmarks of a back-alley abortion.
Crushed hope, stomped on dreams, stripped pride, and most of all a total feeling that life is pointless. I guess arguing over a venue that has let us down over and over again has drained me of what precious little energy I have left.
To be clear I am not a fan of this spot, but when you are trying to keep up the facade of positivity, the surrounding next level negativity tends to turn one into a devils advocate.
But seriously who can blame the lot of you for being sick of it? I am to be sure. Why I keep doing it is a question I keep asking myself, much like a junkie that is on the beginning stages of hitting rock bottom. The simple answer is that I have all of you in the live chat to share witty and insightful comments with. If not for that I would be off living a more productive life.
But the question still lives rent free in my head, what the fuck is the point of it?
Why do we still participate then cry about an organization that does not give a rats ass about us?
Why do we still try and offer solutions to a highly flawed system that is never going to change?
It reminds me of the days shortly after my wife’s passing and my subsequent meltdown, earning me a suspended license and relegating me to years of getting around on one of the most dysfunctional systems of public transportation in the world, TheBus.
I cannot tell you how much time I spent analyzing and thinking of solutions to that aborted fetus of a taxpayer tit sucking company while I waited hours on end at bus stops for buses that couldn’t keep schudule, followed by even more hours of riding on them once they did finally show up.
The only thing I can take from those days is that it toughened me up to be the person I am today, not much of one to be sure, but at least one that can travel anywhere using any means of transportation with the level of patience needed to embrace the suck.
The overwhelming realization I got out of those days is thinking of solutions was pointless. Nobody gave a shit. Not the management, not the people with licenses and cars to go along with them, not even the passengers themselves.
Nothing was going to change.
And so it is with the WSL. We can sit around all day wanking into the wind with mouths wide open, but it is not going to equate to anything. It truly is pointless.
And this is where Nihilism comes in.
Once you realize that everything is truly pointless you can get over it and move on.
Fuck existence and everything in it, and fuck trying to make sense of it or envision a better one. This is the one we have, deal with it. It will go a long way to gleaning the little slivers of silver embedded in the pile of dogshit. You can be in awe of the amount of spray that Gabe somehow manages on even the shittiest of one footers, you can appreciate the level of Red Bull energy that flows through Italo’s veins, and you can even laugh at the commentators that bring their sponsors cred to the lowest of levels by their inability to just guzzle down a non alcoholic beer as if it were an ice cold frosty waiting for you after a kick ass surf session. All these things are possible if you just stop giving a fuck and stop trying to analyze and offer solutions on the best way to beat on a dead horse.
The horse is already dead, just enjoy the fact that we get to beat on it.
I urge you to give Nihilism a try, especially when it comes to watching the WSL comps. You might just come to find that they do indeed go hand in hand.
It will help to find a point in participating in a hopelessly pointless endeavor.
Thanks for the fun times below the line and hope to see you all on the next one.
We continue chasing that pro surfing rainbow because it’s not about them ( whichever corpo shitstains are currently trying to bilk the soul of the sport for profit)….. it’s about us.
We love the focused hard edge of performance surfing crystallising before our eyes in real time. We endure because, not despite, the World’s best do their utmost to make a silk purse out of the sow’s ear of the WSL venues.
Our love of surfing gladiators in shiny Lycra remains stoic and untested irregardless of the trials we fans are subjected to in the form of shit waves, poor priority decisions and gormless commentators in the booth.
Thanks for your write up, TRJMO. Your contrarian stance has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated during these long, hard El Salvadoran days.
There shall be no tears if Punta Roca is swallowed by a sinkhole.
Thanks mate, I appreciate the good sport mentality you brought to the chat.
That’s it right there, J.
Ya jus gotta put on yer best shiteatin grin and suck it up .
Nothing else you can do …
I tried to quit, I really did.
I lasted 2 events but then I slipped at Snapper because who doesn’t want to watch that wave?
Then I tuned in for Manu to see what that wave was really like.
I might just fuck off for Brazil unless the waves actually get good.
I’ve started a similar tactic wrt watching. But rather than try to go cold turkey, I’ll watch. From men’s quarters on. Won’t watch the women – the whole wokey equity schtick just fucks me off, so I figured why bother.
This way I reckon at least I don’t have to swallow too much shit …. Hahahahar
#FuckWSL
The main issue is the tour is no longer about getting the fellas in the best waves possible and finding the best surfer. The rest is just noise
Way more issues than that mate.
Yes agreed , the self promoted best surfers on the best drugs in the best waves tax avoidance drug money can buy.
Yeh but what I’m saying Jack is when they get good waves all the other issues fade into the background. Snapper was a fucking sick watch cuz they got pretty pumping waves and could run on consecutive days. This then means the live chat has a heaps positive vibe and everyone is talking about the waves, surfing, scores and so on.
Then when you get disjointed events with average waves and they’re running when they were meant to be on hold and vice versa cunts get off it and the chats turn negative, thats just life. The real debate is how to ensure they achieve the goal of good waves and has been done to death. To me the most obvious thing to start with is to trim down the field to be able to get it done in 3 days which is usually how long a swell lasts. Lets be honest I like watching some of the good Sheilas but most of em outside the top 10 are fucking awful and a complete waste of valuable time and swell in my personal opinion
Good points made there SC.
Even though it is hard for us to bear sometimes, I do think that the level of womens surfing has greatly improved now that they are surfing side by side with the men.
And let’s face it, they aren’t going anywhere, and you and I both know this.
bingo
did Jack do a wrap Hip?
Can’t see but would like to read- can you quote it please .

That was cool.
Very much enjoyed but I come to exact opposite conclusion and reject nihilism and find the simple joys in all he mentions above.
Hope you are going good Jack.
That is the old version mate.
I’m assuming you are posting this for Steve, but you could have just told him that if he really wants to read what me or any other blocker has to say, all he needs to do is log out of disqus.
I can’t believe he doesn’t know that by now.
Aw yeah I forgot
I guess he hasn’t played the blocking game cause he actually gets along with people.
Yeah not a fan even if they fuuuucken hate me
I am really starting to appreciate the value of it to be honest, it’s like that unused board in your quiver that you never really gave a chance, but rides really well.
Love it, this is why I come to the Grit, to get Gritted.
I realized the WSL horse was dead a very long time ago; that’s why I enjoy flogging it and the blowflies that are feeding off its dead carcass.
You love it !
Yeah I’m a glutton for punishment.
The nihilists in the “big lebowski”
hahahahaha
Aces Jack.
Thanks.
Writing and editing below the line helps to keep my cognitive decline in check. I’m glad it’s legible enough to read.
I have never watched a FIFA match, but Christmas-colored gave me a chuckle.
Towards the end of the Cheyne Horan biopic “ Scream in Blue “ which I recently watched, Cheyne , with his sun-bleached white hair, grabs his board to go for a surf and is wearing a full length wetsuit that is all-red with white cuffs.
My wife caught sight of him and said he looked like Santa. Out of the mouths of Babes etc.
I’m boycotting the FIFA corrupt cup and there $1000+ tickets. Not watching a single game. Thats a couple less than usual. On another more pressing matter if you haven’t watched Ritual Tendencies yet your blowing it. Best surf vid since Pentacoastal. Incredible surfing. Sick soundtrack. Its a 1 hour movie so for someone like myself with the attention span of a 5 year old thats saying something.
Alas, I also am unable to enjoy the World Cup. One of the side effects of heterosexuality I suppose.
Ritualistic tendencies is the best surf movie I’ve seen in a long time. Aimed at my demographic and the target was hit.
idk, you guys got Turks back for Gallipoli yesterday. The other Aussies I know are stoked.
If Oz wanted revenge for Gallipoli, they should have beat the English, bunch of over-confident posh tools, including Winston Churchill, sent them to certain death.
Or for that matter Oz might have own goaled like they did by sending untrained bogans against a real army with trenches and machine guns
“Untrained bogans”
You are talking about a generation of young Aussie men being killed, maimed and traumatised and that’s the language you use?
it was a little less than 9K Aussie troops that died during the Gallipoli campaign out of their 50K troops. Not an entire generation. Western Front, on the other hand, was way worse for the Aussies. Something like 50K dead.
Interesting. I guess just that it was a full-on slaughter debacle is what pushes it to the forefront
almost 30K British troops lost in the Gallipoli campaign as well. ANZAC and British boys got slaughtered because of the British Admiralty’s decisions alike. And no one talks about the fact that the Turks took way more deaths and casualties than any of the combined allied forces either.
Just as much a significant moment in the self actualisation of Australia as a nation independent of Britain. What could more vividly illustrate Britain’s contempt for Australia than sending our men to die in a fruitless campaign?
Australia had a population of 5 million at the time. The war dead accounted for a broad swathe of the young men. Not to mentioned those wounded and emotionally broken.
My mother-in-law lives at my house. Her father was gassed in the trenches in WW1 and then had his foot blown off in WW2. This shit is not an abstract article on wiki in my house.
Was like a 100 years ago dude let go of the anger ( that you never really ecperianced,)
Everyday when I go to get my coffee in this small town, I pass the ANZAC memorial with its disgustingly long list of names of those young Australians who gave their life in that ruinous event.
Every small town has a similar place and a similar list of names that seems impossibly long to originate from such tiny communities.
I’m angry because these people at least deserve the respect from someone on the internet who has nothing to gain from disparaging their sacrifice and the ideal that they gave their lives to defend; that of Australia as a society where we can all feel safe, happy and prosperous.
Lest we forget.
funny how you plead for social restraint and your kin shows none ever
maybe not funny, ironic
Showing respect for the dead and grieving is universal you twit.
Australians show incredible social restraint. That’s why we’ve got a clean, orderly, high-trust , functioning society that is the envy of the world. Basically no where else has achieved such a civilisation…including America.
Don’t confuse egalitarianism, rejection of illegitimate authority and the fair go with lack of social restraint.
Not really your fault you think that way. You’re just another product of the deeply flawed US culture that is almost sub-continental in its capacity to encourage zero sum success.
Actually….i retract that statement. It’s not a USA thing, it’s a silver spoon USA thing. The Trumpian concept of using money as a weapon to destabilise society to your advantage and then hand-wring when the plutocracy doesn’t receive its demanded sub servitude. The Pommy monarchy led the trend and followed up by the Little Kings of the $USD.
Nah, what he meant is that a set of Aussies on these comments tear into everything and anything with zero respect, doubly so for my countrymen, triply so for non-whites and gays. Nothing off limits, going hardest at the most vulnerable with zero empathy. And you haven’t expressed outraged about that even a little. But Oz war dead over 100 years ago regarded a bit lightly and you are up in arms.
And I’m going to disagree strongly with the idea that Australia is immune to the type of politics and economics you were describing. Rupert Murdoch is Frankenstein to Trump’s monster. He’s more than any other person on the planet he popularized MAGA’s core politics. Wasn’t born in San Clemente. And trillionaire Elon Musk, from another Commonwealth colony that is a close cousin of Australian, is the largest practitioner of the economic ideas you describe as essentially American. Not born in Iowa. Jumped around with glee with a chainsaw at the idea of cutting international aid that clearly would send thousands of people to their deaths.
there’s actually some pretty good analysis out there why business moguls from the farthest flung Commonwealth colonies are so successful. The culture that you are calling specially egalitarian enables the absolutely ruthless business behavior that they get good at, and then they export it to big economies where they can leverage it to much higher levels. Idea being that in a don’t be a tall poppy culture of politeness, people who say well fuck that don’t actually get cut down, but are allowed to ass fuck everything in sight while the rest of society uncomfortably gazes at its shoe. America is a big diverse place, and there’s by far more of us who actively confront these cunts then the entire population of your country.
so yeah, plenty of fingers pointing back at you right next to that one pointing at us
Didn’t mean to offend, just saying a true thing quickly. It was a shitty mission driven in many respects by English vanity. The Aussies were brave. Fascinating history
The Australian Imperial Force (AIF) troops who fought and died at Gallipoli were overwhelmingly working-class. Because Australia did not have conscription during World War I, the first waves of soldiers were entirely volunteers drawn from the everyday labor market.Class Composition of the Enlisted Men
Laborers and Tradesmen: The vast majority of the private soldiers and non-commissioned officers were manual laborers, miners, bootmakers, factory hands, blacksmiths, and fishermen.
Rural Workers: A significant portion consisted of rural working-class men, including bushmen, shearers, and boundary riders.
Egalitarian Ethos: This heavy concentration of working-class volunteers deeply shaped the initial “Anzac ethos”, fostering a culture of mateship and a notorious skepticism toward traditional British military hierarchy.
The Officer Class Exception While the rank-and-file soldiers were distinctly working-class, the officer corps was generally drawn from a higher socioeconomic standing. Australian officers during the Gallipoli campaign were typically from the middle and upper classes, consisting of educated professionals such as lawyers, doctors, schoolteachers, merchants, and wealthy rural graziers.
The behavior of the Australian troops was decidedly coarse, irreverent, and rowdy rather than genteel. They deliberately rejected traditional British military decorum, earning a reputation as a “mob in uniform” among shocked British commanders.
Larrikinism and the Rejection of EtiquetteAnti-Authoritarianism: The soldiers refused to conform to upper-class military norms. They routinely ignored orders to salute British officers, addressed junior officers informally as “Skipper”, and dressed with casual nonchalance, sometimes refusing to shave regularly.
The “Larrikin” Identity: Australians embraced the cultural concept of the “larrikin”—a boisterous, mischievous individual with a total disregard for authority. British command frequently labeled them the “bad boy of the Imperial family”.
Recreation in Egypt: While training in Egypt before the Gallipoli landing, their behavior was notoriously wild. Incidents of heavy drinking, brawling, and the infamous “Battle of the Wazza”—a full-scale riot in Cairo’s red-light district—shocked the upper-class military establishment.
The Battlefield Counterpart
Grim Humor: On the cliffs of Gallipoli, this coarseness translated into a dark, cynical sense of humor and a blunt, practical approach to survival.
Fierce Fighting Discipline: While their social behavior was considered vulgar by genteel European standards, their combat discipline was elite. They redirected their rough, unyielding nature into extreme bravery and endurance on the front line.
The first wave of Australian troops who landed at Gallipoli had minimal and highly flawed training. While they spent several months drilling intensely, they were trained for the completely wrong type of warfare. [1, 2, 3, 4]
## Timeline of Their Training
* Basic Phase (6 to 8 weeks): After volunteering in August 1914, recruits received a very brief, rushed introduction to military life at [makeshift camps in Australia]( https://ergo.slv.vic.gov.au/explore-history/australia-wwi/home-wwi/training-preparation) like Broadmeadows.
* Desert Phase (4.5 months): They were shipped to Egypt and spent December 1914 through April 1915 training at [Mena Camp near Cairo]( https://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/diggers-in-egypt-trained-and-played-hard/wwdbuln72) . [2, 5, 6, 7, 8]
## Why the Training FAILED to Prepare Them
* Wrong Tactics: In the Egyptian desert, British instructors trained the Australians in “open warfare”—fast-moving infantry maneuvers across flat, open ground. At Gallipoli, they were instantly thrown into a brutal, stationary trench war on steep, jagged cliffs. [1, 2, 9, 10, 11]
* No Trench Experience: The troops had zero training or equipment for trench warfare. They had never practiced night landings from boats, assault climbing, or fighting on mountainous terrain. [1, 12]
* Missing Weapons Skills: The soldiers were highly proficient with rifles, but they were not trained to use hand grenades (“bombs”) or heavy fire-support systems. Once on the cliffs, they had to hastily learn how to manufacture and throw improvised tin-can explosives on the front line. [1, 3]
Ultimately, the rigorous physical drilling in Egypt made them exceptionally fit and tough, but their tactical training was completely inadequate for the slaughterhouse they faced at Anzac Cove. [1, 12, 13, 14]

An Australian man who within the last 24 hours has both called for an end to all immigration to Australia and chanted ‘Aussie Aussie Aussie’ at a World Cup live site, was said to be in a serious but stable condition after former refugee Nestory Irankunda scored the opening goal in a World Cup game against Türkiye.
Paramedics were called to the scene after the fan suffered what was believed to be a massive episode of cognitive dissonance. “He sort of just froze when the goal was scored, like his brain was buffering,” one witness said. “After a few minutes he started muttering the phrase ‘yeah but he’s one of the good ones’ – it seemed to be some sort of coping mechanism. Not long after that he went into a cardiac arrest”.
Somewhere Jesse Mendes is cry wanking.
Xox
But, would rather listen to his drivel or Jessie Starlings non-stop senseless babbling? Tough call.
I love jess
Hahahahaha! Classic!
A nutter comp with kazoo boy would be intense pain on my surfers ear. https://uploads.disquscdn.c…
It’s gazoo…ga….
Believe me, losing at soccer is a small price to pay to end the societal destruction wrought by mass immigration.
It’s their world. Their economy. The masters. The players.
Not ours. The serfs and the pawns. I took in Barton’s convo with Taj and I understood why Barton was booted from the woz. An inability to toe the party line on major things that matter. As Jack said above; nothing really matters anymore. Those who have eyes can see what’s coming.
As for pro-surfing, which we all love (one way or another) it seems that the public voice did manage to bring about some change such as ending the mid-season cut, and instant eliminations in other to shorten the contests.

The problem isn’t the trickle-down theory itself. The problem is that govts. don’t tax the rich at the top, or they allow the rich at the top ways to flout the system of paying tax. So they pay nothing, and nothing trickles down.
Like most things, it’s not the system itself as it was imagined and created, it’s that those in charge of maintaining the system have corrupted it so shamelessly.
Agreed, but also government in the USA is insanely bloated and inefficient, shitting away fuck tons of money like it drank pond water on safari. It’s the nature of bureaucracy to reproduce itself and grow over time, happens everywhere almost like a big organization is an organism on its own. Trillion in unnecessary military spending, trillion in completely wasted Covid relief, printing money we don’t have. I’m just paying interest on the debt. Is a cripplingly massive amount of money. Doesn’t matter how big the shovel is when the hole just keeps getting bigger on its own.
The debt is the point. Why do you think the system is designed to keep growing the debt? The debt is enslavement.
