Feelings of frustration, rage and sadness are percolating here, today, after a new comment platform failed to live up to its promise of being “user friendly.” BeachGrit, the anti-depressive surf website famous for its below-the-line personalities and informative stories about ocean kayakers, informed its loyal audience that a shift away from “Big Comment” Disqus and toward a service more in line with its cool indie ethos was on the way. After being delayed for three days, it appears to have launched overnight but, and again, not quite as advertised.
Beef n beer wondered, “What is going on ?”
Barrelled opined, “This just put an exclamation mark on the end of BG. It way too fucking hard to figure out how to log in again and no fucking way Strayan Cunt is figuring this shit out.”
