Here environmental protections have swooped on this fine swathe of country Australia meaning you can couch recline while checking the surf and examining the behaviours of kangaroos wandering through your yard.
And, just listed, is the former Bells Beach house of Globe owner Petey Hill, who installed a skate ramp in the joint. It squats on ten acres, has an epic surf check turret and a teepee when you want to get out your ayahuasca stash.
Listing agent Shaun O’Callaghan told the real estate press,
“The obvious standout is the location, with the proximity to Bells and the views to the northeast. It’s rare you obtain a view of that significance and also remain sheltered and protected from some of the prevailing winds.
“Some properties see the ocean but then others, of course, get the breaking waves and full connection to the surf. It’s not just a property for surfers but interestingly the historical ownership has always been surfers or people from the surf industry. For a start the house isn’t in any way within any view of Bells, and the turret can at best see a bit of the far off horizon over the treetops.
