Thrice world champ John John Florence displays his "lawless, untamed" body.
A new video from the channel of Nathan Florence has given the world a glimpse of his thrice world champion brother John John Florence’s extraordinary musculature.
John John Florence, who turns thirty-three in ten days, is a man of medium height, as you know, but the video reveals shoulders that are strong and with a waist narrow; his hands, large-knuckled suggest a boating man’s power. His hair, white and curling, falls down a broad back and and his eyes, deep-set, are blue and bold.
And those dang titties, swelling full and comely.
Can you imagine your hand cupping their heavy weight and feeling its owner shiver under your touch? His lids fluttering as you rub the tips of your thumbs over those silky pink nipples, those sweet buds tightening as you swoop down and suck them hard?
God!
For those among us who still surf, the video isn’t only about John John Florence’s gorgeous bod but touches on an October 5 swell at the PIpeline, the first of the new North Shore season.
Nathan tells us that his mama Alex sent him a clip of Pipeline firing at six am but he went back to sleep only to miss the best of the very early season swell.
Essential.
This I do this. Watch it at 0.75 speed and I can follow in real-time. I do a shortened version of this before a surf. Also I have a pull up bar for dead hangs and irregular pull-ups. Deep squats are soo good. Oh yes I also have an Indian Clubbell for shoulder mobility. That’s it. Surfing itself is best. These are to counter that repetition

Two consecutive days on the mat and my neck feels broken, ribs ache, and knees don’t stop popping.
the mats got me good

Years of bad living has my back so fucked Im thinking of having it removed.
Fou8ndation Training wil fix it. Look up on youtube.
My spine was removed at birth.
Yeah, so, wake up, twenty push ups, maybe a dead hang, stroll down to the sands, roll around, forward, back, a few single legs on the Dangerous Current sign, then later either a sweaty hot yoga, but not Bikram, or an hour on the mats. Surfing somewhere in the middle. Hamstring stretches in the shower as hot water pours over my lower back. Can’t reach pipe with mouth–yet. Feel fit as hell but also sorta broken.
Much better covered up with one of those ugly blue hooded rashies
I do the manual work pose 6 hrs a day but only mon- fri
Bloody hell Derek

Everyone knows the word is spelt ‘tiDDies’…
I’m old school.
I look at my dusty boards in my garage rafters as I walk beneath them to collect my mountain bike to ride uncrowded trails with no wind, no tides, no parking, no worries.
It’ll never beat a magic session of barrels no matter how you spin it.
You might be surprised
I’ve done a fair bit. Plenty of trails in this part of the world. Sorta put it to one side once my Son and his crew started to do get really good (ones getting invites to Red Bull Hardline) One way to hurt yourself trying to keep up/show off to teenagers hitting their stride.
It’s certainly an intense buzz and theres an element of flow state similar to surfing. But I just had a session a few week back in Fiji that just trumped everything. Nothing ever has made me feel that way bar surfing. All those annoying elements about surfing when they all come together and you’re willing, able and put yourself in the zone. Pure Magic.
Well, sure. If given the choice between tropical barrels and the bike, I’ll choose the barrels. But that’s a multi-thousand dollar adventure for me, not a day to day thing. I’ll get excited for head-high offshores in the fall when it finally arrives, and will sneak out for the rare winter tube fest at some out of the way spots, but other than that, gimme empty loamers and the smell of redwood duff all day long. If crowds were what they were in the 90s, it would be different. I just can’t justify the anger + frustration to enjoyment ratio anymore. Same reason I stopped playing golf.
Yip, fair enough!
“mountain biking” is a great excuse for lonely blokes to meet in the bush.
just joined the gym a few weeks ago after a 5 year hiatus and juicing with creatine monohydrate and protein powder. I also stepped up from light beer to lager ( Kona big wave is my fave). so far so good! Although i have a torn pectoral muscle and bum shoulder, so that hurts progress
I have a steep hill right behind my house I walk up that daily. It only takes 10 minutes but gets my heart pumping. It’s not enough, so I try and do 5-10 minutes of basically what you do. I do lack discipline though and mostly end up just doing the walk part.
I have dumbbells from 10-35lbs (5ish to 15ish kg) that I got early COVID era and think it’s been really helpful as someone who has mostly always used cardio and body weight stuff to stay in shape.
Another option is to get a prone paddleboard, find someone of similar fitness level/speed, and schedule a weekly paddle. Paddling one of these things downwind is some of the most fun I’ve had in the ocean the past few years.
as much as I’d love to just give you shit, I too am very interested in this (about to turn 53, working hard to keep it rolling, or at least spend a lot of time thinking about working hard).
I used to rely on just swimming laps and surfing but in late 40s early 50s realized that wouldn’t be enough. So have jettisoned the swimming laps and gone hard into kettlebells and pushups. There are a million kettlebell workouts online, I have a handful of variations that I rotate through. Try to do a 30 minute relatively high intensity session 4 or 5 days per week. I mix in pushups with all the routines such that I do about 100 push ups per session, in addition to the kettlebells.
This has definitely changed my world. Would definitely recommend.
Ha – overlapping comments saying the same thing
How heavy are your kettlebells?
I have sets of dumbbells up to 35lbs but kind of want something heavier but without the space/expense of a barbell and rack.
multiple sets: 35lbs (16kg), 44lbs (20kg), and 70lbs (32kg). Most of the time I’m using the 20kg, but will mix in variations , mainly trying to get the max workout I can without injury
ps, i’m 5-10, 170lbs, for reference
my set up is in the garage, just have a couple yoga mats with the bells, also have a standalone combo pull up bar/push up handle thing I ordered off amazon, lets me do the deeper dip pushups and mix in some pull-ups here and there
Kettlebells rip!
Same age. I run and swim as well as light farm-type duties on my bit of land. Fucking hate the idea of a gym. Every time in the past i got injured from running I’d keep up the same booze intake and get a bit a softer. Last injury I broke the cycle and got on the kettlebells – and holy fuck they changed everything. Cannot recommend enough for strengthening whole chains of muscles for functional strngth and movement. I’m stronger and more mobile than I’ve been in years. Do them outside when its nice. Do them inside when it’s not – which I did this morning watching this very clip. How mental is that turn of John’s…..?
ha, literally wrote almost the same thing at the same time … same boat, totally recommend
They all look especially higher-than-usual stoned.
Also how big do those pickup trucks need to be? Ridiculous proportions. Small dick big truck complex?
Usually a wank, then a good cry. Look at my boards in the corner of the room with distain, then go mow the lawn.
What’s surfing?
I like to cry first, then have a good wank to cheer myself up.
Maybe I am doing it wrong?
not at all, use the tears for lube.
No, you’re spot on
I chase Dogsnuts, trying to lick his finger.
You are making sailors blush over here!
Xox
I just finger my bumhole.

Was this a review for a porno? Do I need to find a less gay surf adjacent journo?
