Jonathan Wayne Freeman, a middle-aged surf influencer approaching advanced middle-age, is on the warpath again. Only days ago, the former EMT turned here-for-the-likes-and-comments fella took social media by storm in a raucous post denouncing the anti-ICE protests in his hometown of San Clemente, California.
Freeman poned a fellow influencer, except on the other side, by Instagraming:
“An influencer and immigration attorney is excited that a bunch of San Clemente kids are out protesting? A couple things. It’s San Clemente. Pump your brakes. It’s not going to not be conservative any time in the future. And also, they’re kids. Kids like to leave class. Mm -hmm. I know I did when I was young. I would have been out there going, excited to follow your page. I’m sure it’s a riot. God bless you, and God bless America and ICE.”

Not satisfied with a brutal takedown of a colleague who also happened to have a real job, Freeman turned his selfie mode camera on a high school girl who misspelled the word “violence” on her protest sign in his latest drop.
Featuring a photo of the girl holding a “Violcece is never the answer” sign, Freeman turned to his faith, in the second slide, lashing her for skipping school and misspellings before offering the advice, “(Violence) is definitely the answer sometimes. Definitely a very effective and quick answer to certain situations.”
Christian surfers, everywhere, instantly resonating with the message taught in Matthew 5:39 wherein if you can punch out one cheek, you best punch out two then go and find your alleged “neighbor” and tattle to the government to have them deported.

I liked JWF better when he was less political, but the hand-wringing here is only because the author disagrees with JWF politically.
There are plenty of other blue check mark surfers who post just as much political junk that seem to go by unnoticed, but since they skew left it’s fine.
