Almost five years since Gabriel Medina’s marriage to model Yasmin Brunet sank amid rumours of Brunet’s wild jealousy and the strain of Medina’s then-estrangement from his mammy and step-daddy, the three-time champ as again braved the choppy waters of love marrying dancer Isabella Arantes.
Gabriel Medina, who is thirty-two, made the relationship Instagram official, as they say, eleven months ago, when he posted a photo of the pair locked in an embrace during a trip to Península de Maraú, Bahia, using a heart-and-arrow emoji to signify their romance.
Arantes followed with a post of them riding a motorcycle on the beach, captioned with a heart emoji, further solidifying their status as a couple. Friends, including surfer Pedro Scooby and footballer Neymar Jr., celebrated the announcement with supportive comments.
Isabella Arantes, a 28-year-old Brazilian model, influencer, and television personality, was previously engaged to singer Zé Felipe in 2019, a relationship that ended in 2020 amid allegations of infidelity by Zé Felipe. She also faced rumors of a brief fling with Neymar in 2019, which stirred a terrific controversy at the time.
