There were scandals with his grifty son, a non-sensical foreign policy, soaring inflation, two wars bursting hot and, at the end, a concerted effort to hide the fact that he was extremely old.
Joe Biden was, of course, forced to not seek reelection and hand it over to his vice-president, Kamala Harris, after George Clooney told him to, and dodder off the world stage.
Well, every single president since Herbert Hoover have received a presidential library to house the memorabilia from their terms. They are privately funded, paid for by the ultra-rich supporters. President Barack Obama’s is currently being built in Chicago with costs nearing one billion dollars. President George W. Bush’s is near Dallas, Texas and cost around $300 million. I went to President Richard Nixon’s, once, in Yorba Linda, California. I don’t recall learning much about Watergate, there, but did receive an unabridged recounting of the famed Checkers speech.

Nikki Fried, the chair of the Florida Democratic Party, threw more cold water by saying, “(Potential donors) want a plan of how we’re going to save democracy and how we’re going to put this country back onto a better page and turn the page of the Trump administration and the destruction of our economy and international affairs. I don’t know if the donors will be ready to give dollars to you to a library when we’ve got real issues to focus on today.”
